Under the auspices of prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president and prof.Dr. Hesham Abu El-Enin, the vice president of post-graduate studies and research, Benha University holds, on Sunday 19-2-2017, a workshop bout the Egyptian Knowledge bank at the conference hall in the faculty of commerce. This workshop is held in cooperation with the Digital library unit of the supreme council of the universities, the publishers, the companies which participate in the Egyptian Knowledge bank. The workshop is held in the presence of prof.Dr. Osama Hamed, the deputy of the faculty of arts, prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizawy, the deputy of the faculty of agriculture and prof.Dr. Khalid Eid, the deputy of the faculty of arts.

Prof.Dr. Abd El-Kader Abd el- Kareem, The head of the quality project meets the employees of 14 departments to be ready for the visit the of the quality delegation on Sunday, 26-2-2017 as these departments will be accredited by the  national authority of quality assurance and accreditation of education.  

 Benha University’s leaders council honors the winning students in the sixth young researchers conference which is held in Aswan University from 5-2-2017 to 7-2-2017. It is important to say that Benha University participates with seven researches in the fields of medicine, science, engineering, agricultural, computer and informatics. The students who participate in the conference are as following; student/ Ahmed Yasser from the faculty of science, student/ Amany Muhammad from the faculty of education, the students / Mona Red and Ayman Gamil from the faculty of agriculture, the students/ Yasser Mahmoud and Muhammad Ahmed from the faculty of engineering and student / nourhan Muhammad from the faculty of applied arts. 

Benha University’s leaders council discusses, in its weekly meeting which is held under the supervision of prof.Dr. EL-Sayed El-kady, the university president, the vision of how to develop the higher education and the scientific research. Prof.Dr. Eman El-Bitar, the head of hygiene department in the faculty of medicine and the member of the assigned team to present such a vision. This team includes 54 lecturers, assistant lecturers and professors in the university and the tem is headed by prof. Dr. Muhammad Abu Slim, the dean of veterinary medicine and prof. Dr. Ezat el-khiat, the head of the faculties’ members club in the university.  The council heaps praise on what the team has agreed upon regarding qualifying the students to meet the demands of the labor market, the reasons why the students refrain from participating in the activities, preparing new curriculums which meet the demands of the labor market, developing the current curriculums in order to develop the educational process and increasing the salaries of the faculties’ members without burdening the state.

Benha University organizes, on Thursday at 10 a.m., the first forum of developing the education from 22-2-2017 to 25-2-2017. The forum is attended by the prof.Dr. Khalid Abd El-Gafer, the minister of higher education, prof.Dr. Tarek Shawky, the minister of education and general. Mahmoud Ashmawy, the Qulubia governor.

The students of the Egyptian universities, who participate in the first education forum from 22-2-2017 to 25-2-2017, recommend holding an annual education forum in Benha University to put the recommendations of the forum into practice, face the defects and the solve them.  Prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-kady, the university president asserts that Benha University approves on the students of Egyptian universities to hold an annual education forum in Benha University, but the university president will refer to the minister of higher education for approval. 

Prof.Dr. Muhammad El-Nashar, The former minister of higher education thanks Benha University for holding the Egyptian education forum. This statement concurs with his presence the concluding ceremony of the education forum in which the recommendations were drawn, a musical performance was held, the participants were awarded. The former minister urges the supreme council of the universities to hold this forum annually.

The president of Benha University, the deputies, the faculties’ deans, the faculties’ members, the teaching assistants and the students condemn the terrorist attack in the north of Sinai against the Christians. The university stands firm and united in the face of terrorism and those who conspire against Egypt.   

Prof.Dr. Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president meets with the heads of 14 Departments, on wendesday noon, among 45 departments in Benha University to discuss the procedures taken in these departments to obtain the ISO 9001 of the year 2008.  These departments are as follows: the public relationships department, the cultural and scientific department, the post-graduate studies department, the department of purchases, the department of storehouses, the department of councils secretariat, the department of the faculties’ members, the HR department, the department of educational and student affairs, the department of university president office, the department of Information and decision making center, the department of transportation and the maintenance department.  

Benha University organizes a number of workshops for the conference of developing the pre-university education as the participants discuss the criteria of the quality of education, suggesting the best rules for selecting the leaders in the educational edifices and presenting a plan of training the alumni of the university to be able to meet the demands of the marketplace. It has been greed that Tuesday, 14-2-2017 is the day in which the talk and workshops will be continued and the final recommendations will be also issued. This event takes place under the auspices of Prof.Dr. Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president and it is attended by prof.Dr. Ibrahim Fouda, the dean of the faculty of education, prof.Dr. Saad Muhammad Saad, the head of the quality management center, prof.Dr. Muhammad Selim, the vice manger of the quality management center, prof.Dr. Hend Abd Allah, the vice manger of the quality management center for the administrative and the financial affairs and prof.Dr. Moshbeh El-Kehily, the general manager of the youth care department.
