Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, witnessed the activities of the fourth sports festival for Delta and Greater Cairo universities, which is organized by the General Administration for Youth Welfare at the university, at the Benha University sports complex in Kafr Saad, with the participation of 12 Egyptian universities.

This took place in the presence of Dr. Gihan Abdel-Hadi, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Hani Zakaria, General Supervisor of the Sports Fields, and Mr. Ibrahim Abdullah, Director General of Student Welfare at the University, along with representatives of the teams participating in the festival.
Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy emphasized that Benha University places great importance on student and sports activities, considering them a key pillar in building the character of university students. He pointed out that the festival aims to develop students' skills, promote a spirit of fair competition, and instill the values ​​of cooperation, communication, and teamwork among university students.
El-Gizawy added that supporting student talents in various fields, especially sports, is part of the university's commitment to providing a comprehensive environment that helps students discover their abilities and develop their skills, thus contributing to preparing a generation capable of bearing responsibility and participating positively in society.
For her part, Dr. Gihan Abdel-Hadi expressed her appreciation for the efforts made in organizing the festival, extending her greetings to those in charge and to all participating universities and students, stressing the importance of sports activities in strengthening communication and exchanging experiences among university students.
She noted that this year's festival features the participation of 12 universities: Benha, Benha National, New Mansoura, Al-Azhar, Sadat, Menoufia, Capital, Kafr El-Sheikh, Mansoura, Zagazig, Tanta, and Cairo, with a total of 175 students.
The festival includes a number of competitions and sporting activities, all within an atmosphere of enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and fair play, fostering stronger relationships among Egyptian university students and supporting the discovery and development of athletic talent.

Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced the participation of a number of the university’s students in the activities of the International Summer School organized by Xi’an Jiaotong University in China, under the slogan “Silk Road Youth: Sustainable Development Goals in Action,” within the framework of the university’s strategy to promote international openness, support students and provide opportunities for learning, training and interaction with global educational experiences.

Al-Gizawy emphasized that Benha University students' participation in this international event stems from the university's commitment to developing their capabilities and refining their academic and practical skills. It also provides them with opportunities to learn about the latest international educational systems and experiences, contributing to the development of qualified graduates capable of competing in the local and international job market.
Dr. Gihan Abdel-Hadi, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, explained that the summer school's activities include a diverse range of academic and training programs, along with cultural activities. This provides participating students with an opportunity for direct interaction with students from around the world, exchanging experiences and knowledge, and learning about different cultures.
Dr. Mohamed Farhat Fouda, Professor at the College of Life Sciences at Central China Agricultural University and coordinator of the summer school's activities, stated that Benha University participated as an organizing partner in this international event, representing Egypt at this scientific forum. He added that the university joined four other universities from different continents—Asia, Africa, and Europe—for a total of five participating universities, reflecting the continental and international diversity of the event.
Representing Benha University in the summer school activities are a number of students from various faculties of the university, namely: Tamer Mohamed Ali and Shaimaa Helil from the Faculty of Engineering in Shubra, Hosni Samir Abdel Aziz and Sahar Ramadan El Sayed from the Faculty of Commerce, Hagar Shindy El Toukhy and Sama Atef Sayed from the Faculty of Agriculture, Abdel Razek Askar from the Faculty of Science, and Mahmoud Sabak from the Faculty of Engineering in Benha.
