Launch of the Fourth Cycle of the King Salman Global Award for Disability Research
The General Secretariat of the Association of Arab Universities extends its warmest greetings and is pleased to announce the launch of the fourth cycle of the King Salman Global Award for Disability Research. Organized by the King Salman Center for Disability Research, under the generous patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect him – the award will be presented in December 2026.
The award aims to recognize scientific institutions, organizations, and researchers who have contributed high-quality research with a tangible impact on the development of disability-related fields and the improvement of the quality of life for people with disabilities. It also aims to support innovation and enhance research collaboration at both the regional and international levels. The award includes a prize of 500,000 Saudi Riyals for each winner, along with a medal and a certificate of appreciation.
